Hello! My boyfriend and I are heading to Europe for a few weeks and need to travel from Krakow to Budapest on 5 May. We've looked at Orangeways and train options, but the timing's just not right for us (we're on a really tight schedule) and I've read some negative reviews about Orangeways on other sites. We do have the (rather expensive) option of going with Euro Busways. They offer a door to door minibus service that takes around 6 hours. Their timing's flexible - they'll pick us up whenever we want - and we have the option of stopping for dinner in Slovakia. We're happy to spend a bit extra if it means we can enjoy the scenery through Slovakia a bit more. My only issue is that they're quite a new company and I can't find any feedback on them. They want payment through PayPal and I don't really want to do that without knowing more about them. Has anyone out there used this service and can offer some feedback? Thanks,
Don't know anything about them, so I can't help you there. Given that it's in May, I think you'd be fine to wait until your arrival in Krakow to book. Given that you're on a tight schedule, you might consider the overnight train, leaving at 22:01 and arriving at 8:35. You're traveling while you are (hopefully) sleeping, and saving the cost of a night of lodging. | 1
Thanks Dave. I think we will wait to book. That feels safer. We did look at the night train but we've already booked our accommodation in Budapest and we'd lose a night of that if we took the train. Silly really - we could do with the extra day in Krakow! :) | 2

Took Eurobusways from Budapest to Krakow in August 2013. Great experience. Aron (the founder of the company) was our driver. He spoke terrific English and was very knowledgeable about everything in the region. We talked about everything from Hungarian culture to his business model to the history of random castles we would see along the way. It is rare that you meet a great conversationalist, especially helpful for a 6 hour bus ride. Highly recommend! Sidenote: if you are looking for bus / minibus transport from Budapest. Whatever you do, DO NOT use Orangeways. I wrote about my experience with in another post on Lonelyplanet. Just awful. Eurobusways saved the day. Very grateful to this day. | 4
so sad that we had made payment and Aron last min said he couldn't come 1 day before, until now he still hvnt reply or pick up his phone, our money still with him. Our plans all screw up for 15 of us. does anyone has his personal/ other phone number? | 5
