Croatia or Morocco or both August 2013

Hi everyone, my boyfriend and I plan to travel from turkey to croatia then to morocco from July 14th to August 13th. We are from Australia, so used to the heat, but from what we have read about high temperatures in morocco and also it being ramadan during this time, we are questioning our travel plans to morocco. We can either stay 20 days in croatia and not go to morocco, or spend 10 days in croatia and 10 days in morocco. We would have already spent 10 days in turkey before going to croatia.

Our suggested itinerary for Croatia is:
Fy into Zagreb 23rd of July, head straight to Krka national park, then go to Plitvice lakes national Park, then to Split to go to an island? then go to Dubrovnik then fly back to Zagreb, to travel to Morocco. Can we fit this all in 10 days? Advice on transportation? Is it worth hiring a car?

Our suggested itinerary for Morocco is:
Fly into Marrakech on 3rd August and fly out of Tangier on 13th. During this time we were planing on spending a couple of days in Marrakech, then go to Imlil to climb Mt Toubkal, then to Mergouza - camel ride in desert, then to Chefchaouen, then go to Tangier to fly out.
Any thoughts would be appreciated on the viability on this route due to the time of year given the temperature. I think Ramadan is only the first three days we will be there. Also do we have enough time to fit all of this in? and best ways to get to each destination eg. busses.

Croatia for sure.

You would go first to Plitvice then Krka - though I think Krka is missable having experienced Plitvice. Ten days is sufficient but with twenty - wow! Options are manifold.

Car would be great but not a disaster by any means if you do not.

Yeah - don't do Morocco in the heat of summer.

...... to mention Ramadan ends 7th. August followed by the Celebration of Eid al Fitr on the 8th. and the holiday transport chaos rolls on for a day or so more.

Out of curiosity, how do you plan on gtting from Croatia to Morocco? I am thinking of traveing straight from Croatia to Morocco in late October/early November and I'm trying to gather some 'how to' infomation.
