Hey! I'm looking for some info about Russia (Siberia and Far East)

I want to know if the train from Nizhni Bestyakh to Tommot running for passengers in October 2015. (Any locals with some info)

Also, Is it possible to cross the Lena river from Yakutsk to Nizhni Bestyakh by ferry during the first week of October or the last days of September? I've read about helicopters crossing, any update on prices?

Last, I want to travel from Yakutsk to Irkutsk with a stop at Lake Baikal and specially, I want to see the autumn colors in the trees (the reds, oranges, and yellows). Is the beginning of October the correct season to catch this either on Yakutsk or at Irkutsk or somewhere along the way? Basically, when is the autumn in those latitudes?

Thanks for any input! :D

Last year ferry in Yakutsk stops operating on 23 October. If winter comes very early, than you can use hovercraft ship.

Thanks! Any website for prices?
Also, would you know if the first week of October is the autumn/fall season when trees turn yellow/red/etc.?

Thanks again!
