Hello everyone, I am a USA Citizen and I will be flying from Loa Angeles to Bishkek, Krykstan. I have a 7 hour layover in Moscow. Do I need a transit Visa? Based on my research, I cant find a clear answer. Can anyone help? Any advice or answers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you stay in the transit area (internatioal area), if you stay in transit less than 24 hours and if you don't want to leave this area to cross the immigration and then enter the Russian Federation, you don't need a transit visa.
I was there in the past for four transits without any transit visa. It's not a problem.
If you want, you can use Timatic and check on it to see the actual situation.
You can have the information by using staralliance.com and checking on "Visa and Health "
Timatic is provided by IATA. It's official, accurate and up to date. Timatic is used by all the airlines companies.
