Hello!

I am visiting the Sanduny Banya in Moscow soon. I was wondering if any guys had been there and can tell me what to expect? I have no problem with being naked or anything, I just want to be prepared. Is there a swimming pool for laps? Should I bring a bathing suit, or go au natural? Thanks.

I think there's a swimming pool in the most expensive section. I've only been to the slightly cheaper (800R for 2 hours) one, where there are a couple of plunge pools. No bathing suit. Most Russians wrap themselves in a sheet when not in the banya, so you might want to take one. Also most people wear rubber slippers/sandals of some sort, as the floor is slippery. There are no lockers in the changing area, but you can hand your valuables to the attendant near the entrance. You can order beer etc and settle up when you leave.

I sould specify that I am interested in going to the least expensive area, so thanks! If anybody knows anything else, just let me know.
