Good morning to you all. I am planning to take a month-long Russian language course in St Petersburg this October. Did the research, found some good schools... All quite expensive, with prices in Euros.

So I was wondering if any friend from the Thorn Tree would have knowledge of a any school that would have better prices. In rubles would be even better. With the Euro and Dollar rising high lately, its difficult for me, who get paid in Brazilian money, to be able to afford some crazy prices.

A couple of years ago i did a Russian language course in St. P. for a month. I did it through the dutch organisation 'Russisch in Rusland'. They have their website in English as well. I was very satisfied with it: good accomomdation, good teachers and a good price (i went end of January), and above all, a great month in a great city! Here is the English version of their website:

Hi to all!
I heard that in my hometown Novosibirsk there is a nice school with Russian courses for foreigners called Exlinguo.
Some of the students stayed in our hostel, so I heard good reviews. And it is probably less expensive than St.Pete.
