planning a trip in late june.

will return from st pete on night train arriving moscow on sunday morning. and have a flight departing 10am from SVO the same day.

i saw 2 trains arrive at moscow from st pete ~6am so i wanna know if this is enough for me to catch the flight? how's the traffic on a sunday morning?

Yes. Traffic isn't bad and after 5:30 am you can take public transport to/from SVO. Please read #4 of the New RU Sticky for details.

what if i take a train arriving 7am is it a bit tight??

how long does it take to go through check in and customs / security after arrival at SVO?

Given that you don't know the metro in Moscow I would say that getting into town at 7 am is probably cutting it a bit close.

You should be at the airport 90 minutes before departure.

7am I would not try, there is a high chance of missing the flight. Also, I hope it is not a flight to the US, there one now needs to show up relatively early, and you should count 2 hours from the train station to the airport.
