Hello, this question is concerning a trip to Turkey (or Egypt, or any other all-inclusive beach destinations popular with russians/ukrainians) from Moscow

Our plan is to be 10 days in Moscow and take a 3-4 day side trip to an all-inclusive destination that is popular that time of the year, preferably college and party crowd. We are looking for it to be a popular and busy.

  1. Is last week of May, mid-week, a good time to go?
  2. Please recommend a good resort (Turkey, Egypt, etc)
  3. Tour operators, and how much to expect to pay including airfare for a 3 night stay
  4. Finally, what about Krym this time of the year, not for an all-inclusive, but rather for party athmosphere and the weather?

Any advice or suggestions related to my questions are appreciated,
Thanks in advance!

You will need a double entry visa for what you plan. I am not sure how easily this would be obtained.

  1. I don't know that late May mid week is a good time to travel. I don't think that Russian university students are out of school until sometime in June. Plus most Russians I know take a one week holiday, not a midweek vacation. Standards are usually charters that leave on Sunday and return on Saturday.

  2. Common places are Turkey, Cyprus and Egypt because Russians don't need visas for these places. Other possibilities are Bulgaria and Ukraine.

  3. Generally this sort of information is found on Russian websites. If you read Russian, I would suggest doing a search on yandex.ru or rambler.ru or the Russian version of google.

  4. I think late May is too early for a party atmosphere in Crimea.

It is not too early for Crimea.

I have been to Crimea maybe 15-20 times and may-june -september are the best months to visit there.

There is always some party there.no matter what month of the year you will be there.OK the Russian students will not be there but you have local people celebrating everything on every possible occasion!!!

July and August are terribly hot, water shortages, everything is more expensive, there are always lines for anything.

I would say just go to Crimea. You will have fantastic time.

If you come to Turkey,we get 2 million Russians in and surrounding areas of Antalya every year.
