Because of the Western sanctions some of the banks in Russia are cut off from their correspondent banks. Are you having any problems in Russia using your card in an ATM to get roubles? Our card only works on the PLUS network - will that be a problem? What about in smaller towns, like Ulan Ude - first stop coming from China. Thanks.

I think the plus network is visa? Visa worked fine, only problem is that most ATMs have rather low maximum withdrawal limits (typically about 7000 rubles = 100 dollar).
