Hi
I am planning a 10 days/2 weeks holiday in Crimea from the end of March
Apart from Yalta & Sevastopol, where else? I am a 66-year-old not very athletic retired teacher, so not so much money and no beach at all. I enjoy local markets and popular cafés.
TIA
Antonio

I would really recommend you to visit towns Bakhchisaray and Alupka - I think you'll find them interesting. You can find few more interesting places in Crimea here: http://russianblogger.me/top-10-places-to-visit-in-crimea/

Wish you to have a great time, enjoy Crimea!

P.S. how are you getting there?

Hi Daniiltimin, thank you for your reply. I will be flying from Moscow. I have a Brazilian passport so I do not need visas for Russia.

Very nice, Visa and Mastercard doesn't work in Crimea so make sure that you have enough of cash with you. Either way you'll be pretty much screwed.

You have a lot of places around Bakhchisarai like Mangup-Kale, Tepe-Kermen or also Chufut-Kale.
You can reach these places (and many more) on foot or using a mix of bus/marshrutka and foot.
Bakhchisarai will be a good base for day trips including Simferopol.
Sudak is also a great place to visit.

So there are no Atms and I cannot use my Credit Card, is that right? I have been through that in Iran and it was a problem.
