Does anyone know about the record stores in Moscow?
I'm looking for some private own shops, some places with indie-rock and post-rock music.
if anyone knows, please tell me!
I really wanna know about the russian rock and buy some CDs that I can't find in my country.
Thank you so much!!!!

Records are not popular and haven't been for years. Lots of Russian music was self published and bootleg copies of cassettes and CDs were passed from friend to friend.
Have you searched online? I think a lot of stuff can be downloaded these days.
Ruth
I'm sure the OP must mean "record store" in the sense of music store, Ruth, not a place that actually sells LPs!
OP, do you read Russian? I hope so. Back in the day when I used to go to Moscow frequently, ZigZag was my favorite for its selection of Russian rock, punk, and experimental music, and for its extensive library of bootleg cassettes. As the reviewer notes, its heyday has now past--who on Earth needs bootleg cassettes when you can download concerts by the dozen from the internet?--but I'm pleased to see it's still in business, and still a popular gathering spot for Moscow's rock kids.
The other place I really liked, Transylvania, is also still operative, I see. This place's selection of Russian rock was slightly less extensive than ZigZag's, but it was the place to go in Moscow for imports, jazz, and "Western music that doesn't suck."
