I recently entered a travel writing contest. The theme was "a place you love" and the requirement was "must be interesting to read". That was not very difficult ! I chose a place in Siberia that I truely love very much and was very much impressed by - the Chuysky highway in Altai Republic, and the border area leading onward to Tuva. Was that a wise choice? I feel like I chose a place no one heard of lol
Anyone who has been there, knows how overwhelming the Altai mountains are!
And for those of you who have not been there, maybe you can let me know if my text makes you want to go there? That's what I was aiming to achieve!
