hello,
me and two friends are going to be staying in yekaterinburg from the 6th till the 9th of march. we are on a very tight budget and were wondering if anyone could help us in our search for cheap accommodation, as so far i havent been able to find anywhere atall for a reasonable price. we are looking to spend a maximum of 500rubles a night and dont mind roughing it alot.

There are no hostels in Yekaterinburg. There is very little really cheap accommodations there. Please take a look at the New RU Sticky.

Russia is not a great destination for a really tight budget.

There appear to be two new hostels in Ekatarinenburg, both priced at around 21 euros per night. They're on Hostels.com and other websites.

Hopefully there will be more throughout Siberia soon.
