Hi Travelfolks,
I am planning my trip for this summer and I have already booked most of my flights. I will get to Moscow SVO airport after climbing Elbrus on friday July 4th and would like to book a flight to Vladivostok immediately, so that I can do the Trans-Siberian Railway all the way back to Moscow. My flight from Mineralnye Vody to Moscow SVO will arrive at 3:15pm and I saw a flight on Aeroflot that departs at 7:10pm (4 hours later) to Vladivostok the same day. I would like to book it, since the schedule seems work really well for me. It costs $613 and departs from SVO (I believe from the same terminal, since it's another domestic flight).
1) Is it a good price?
2) Does Aeroflot have frequent delays on domestic flights? Do you think it's too risky to book the second flight with just 4 hours of layover?
3) I cannot book my railway tckts yet, since I think I need to wait until 45 days before my traveling dates. Will it be too risky to book the flight now without knowing whether or not I will be able to book my train tickets? I don't want to risk to get stuck in Vladivostok, but, at the same time, I don't want to miss the opportunity to book this flight that seems to fit perfectly in my schedule.
Please, let me know what you think. I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you.
