Wife and I live in Varna Bulgaria. We are considering a 3-4 day trip north to the Danube Delta and the city of Tulcea. Any information abut Tulcea would be appreciated...especially hotels. Tennis courts, swimming pools, saunas, etc. do not interest us. Nature and birding is our thing.

Should you wish info about Bulgaria in general and Varna in particular...give me a buzz.

Tulcea is mainly a starting point for trips into the Delta, it's not particularly interesting place in itself (at least not compared with the rest of the Delta).

Anyway, check this for a list of accommodations and this large online guide to learn more about the city.
