I don't know how with the postcards but few years ago I have sent by post to Philiadelphia some book with signature of Lech Walesa. Till today my friend in Phily didn't receive it...

Update: we returned from Poland Sept. 26, and still no postcards have arrived. It wouldn't seem so strange if they hadn't been sent from many different stations, but for not one postal service to come through is disappointing. These postcards were by now all sent 6 to 9 weeks ago.

#12 don't give up hope. They may all be on the same delayed ship.
Good point, Andrew...to save money, I once posted myself home from a small village, near Zaporizhzhya in Ukraine...at a certain point in the journey, I was left to languish in the hull of a heavily-listing frigate, marooned in the Black Sea for several months...however, in more clement conditions and under the inspirational stewardship of Rear-Vice-Admiral Wally Muffino, our sturdy vessel eventually righted itself and made landfall shortly afterwards, from whence I continued my journey as a first-class package on another second-class conveyance...
So, the moral of the story is...well, em, to be honest, I can't actually recall what the moral of this story is but I'm sure there's one in there somewhere...
