They are definitely two different stations, but you should be able to get to the other one (if you actually have to, like the above poster said) by mass transit, perhaps Metro, in about half an hour, maybe less.

The Suceava train to Bucharest is quite nice and comfortable, I think I was the only passenger in the whole car when I took the trip 2 years ago. Otherwise maybe you will go through Budapest, that's a great route too! Have fun!

Hi,

Regarding to post #9: Yes! The Sophia bound train leaving from Budapest begins at Kelenfold and the next stop is Keleti (and stops here for about 1/2hr), so I think we can wait for the train to pass thru Keleti to board and save ourselves the trouble of domestic travel within Budapest.

Has anyone done this?
