I have been to Krakow ((and it's near surroundings)and Zakopane and now have the chance to go to Poland again in January but just for three nights. I like historic buildings, museums, bars and a little shopping so is it Gdanks or Warsaw? Discuss!

Three or four days is perfect for Gdansk! Last year we went to Gdansk in winter as well and we had a wonderful time. Gdansk has a lot of nice restaurants/bars and is (in my opinion) more interesting than Warsaw.

Definitely Warsaw. There's way more to see there. Although Gdansk is awesome in the summer (it's close to the sea,) at this season the wind is problematic. However, I have to admit, Warsaw, being the Polish capital, is way more expensive that most of the other cities in the country.

Thanks guys! I have booked for Warsaw now as I was going to miss the very cheap flights! I am going 15 January so I think it will be very cold!!
