I have to make a short trip to Warsaw next week. The cheap flights from London use Modlin airport, arriving/departing at stupid o'clock. The best plan seems to be stay near Modlin and then take one of the numerous trains into Warsaw the next morning. I need to check in late (after midnight) and leave early (before 6am) two days runnning. I speak some Polish.

Please let me have your recommendations. There's a Modlin Hotel but it still seems to be under construction; the web site is all about applying for jobs rather than reserving a room. I'm happy to take a taxi from the airport to somewhere else on the line, such as Świercze, Nasielsk, Pomiechówek, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Chotomów or Legionowo.

I assume that you already checked the options presented on the airport's website (which, oddly enough, seem to be in Polish only): http://www.modlinairport.pl/modlin-pl-new/web/s/dojazd

In particular: http://www.modlinbus.com/ - on a random date the last departure from the airport to Warsaw is 23.40, perhaps that fits your schedule.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't some kind of transport option meeting your flights.

There's a B&B located in the Modlin train station buiding (rooms with shared bathroom):
