Hello,

next summer we are considering trek from Svaneti to Racha. We found Ushguli-Zeskho-Ghebi route which looks interesting, but the problem is that there is little info about it on the internet.

So I would like to ask anyone who already did this trek:

How demanding is this trek? Does it take 4 days to finish?
How is the path? Is it easy to keep direction or are there some problems with orientation?
Any other things we should know? (wildlife, hazards etc)

I am also interested in any other inputs from people who have been there, how they liked it etc.

Thanks a lot, Jozef

take a look at this, it gives quite detailed description of the route.

nopasaran: Thanks, but I am aware of this link - problem is that it covers only second half of the trek and I am not sure how actual is the provided information. I think I found all available sources online (and there are very few) so I am looking for someone who actually finished the trek.
What interests me the most is the status of the road - if the path is easy to follow or its invisible and we will have to find our own way.
