georgian people don t just grab tourists from streets to show them their hospitality.it is our way of living
to host any one who comes to our houses or when we see that somebody needs our help.and if you offer money for that it will be very offensive, and even if you decide to gift anything to anyone try not to show that you want to give it in exchange of what they did to you.

I saw the Georgian hospitality still alive and well. I was invited to stay at several people's houses free of charge (really they insisted that I stayed) where they fed me and, of course, gave me way too much to drink. Not too mention the little old lady who woke us up in our tent to give us homemade yogurt, cheese, boiled potatoes and the numerous people who stopped us to offer us coffee or alcohol along our treks. Probably just luck of the draw, though.
