Hello fellow travellers,

Myself and my Boyfriend (both Irish) are going to Georgia in a few weeks to do a teaching program for 3 months.
WWe know nothing about Georgia at the moment and are embarking on some serious research before we leave.

Has anyone done this program before? OR even just lived in Georgia, it would be great to hear all the stories and advice.

Maybe there are other out there also going to Georgia in September for this program that we could meet?

Many thanks

Aine

Aine, is this the program advertised every-so-often on tefl.com by 'green tree travel'?
Or something else (you don't specify which program in your post).

I'd be interested in how it goes, as I've had that one in the back of my mind as 'sometime that exists, and is a bit more adventurous than China/Central Europe are now', for a while.

Good luck; no fun jobs back in Ireland?

Hey there,

The program isn't with that green travel, we are going with esl starter and all the preparation is going fine so far. I am pretty excited now to get going. Although we are leaving from a very lovely spring in Australia to a European winter!! Burr! We haven't been in Europe in 4 years so looking forward to it, and I shall report back!

Fun, job and Ireland are not 3 words that I would put into one sentence. I haven't been home in a few years but everytime I talk to folk form home, its not good news! I hope things get better soon :)

Ok, just looked at their website. Looks like a good program and I;d be interested to hear back how it is going once you are both there.
