I have heard about Czech Spas and I'm considering to spend one week or two there. I keep Marienbad in memory. But many times what we hear it doesn't fit so much on reality.
I would be very pleased to have any feed-back about Checz Spas, which would be the best destinations, if Marienbad is a good choice - I plan to travel in November / December (this year), the relation quality / proces / services provided. Searching internet I have found Orea Hotels as a main provider.
Any tips about these aspects would be very wellcome. Thanks.

Marianske Lazne is the name. ANY town with Lazne in it has it.
But DO maky up your mind: they are not ''spa''s llike modern-time ladies seem to think of them. You go there to ''drink the mineral waters'' in the past at least in a 1-week medical approved+serviced stay-with a program on the side to make you healthy. While that has diminished since all rules fell-its mainly still like that.

Thanks you for your comments. They have been helpful. They made me think better, and to look for other options (for what I'm looking for). Carlos

Karlovy Vary is also a famous Czech spa town. LIke #1 said, though, spas in the Czech Republic are much more medicinally focused than beauty focused. Make sure to do your research before you book something.

Thanks for your note. In fact I'm not (at all!) beauty focused, nor even (mainly) medicinally focused. Physical and psychological relaxing and revigorating, that's my focus. It doesn't seem easy to find a place (not too expensive). Thanks again. Carlos

Thank you very much for your tip. It seems quite good. I'm considering to go. (If travelling on sundays, and from Vienna, is not difficult to get as hotels provide transport from there). Carlos

I can really recommend it. It's a gorgeous, out of the way place. Perfect for relaxing. It has dozens of springs, and unlike every other spa town, they are all different. It has a couple of pleasant restaurants. It's not a place to go for excitement, but for relaxation it's fantastic.

There are two world-famouse spas in the Czech Republic: Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazne.
These spas are in the Western Bohemia, mostly visited by Greman and Russian speaking clients.
