Brno Ossuary (Czech Republic)

I don't know but will be in Brno in late May ,will have a look then ,but if i find out about it before then I will let you know

Does anyone have any information about when the Ossuary in Brno under the Church of St. James will open to the public...that date has been pushed back several times in the past few years. Has anyone actually been to the site...what's up with this place?

Could be a hold-up due to the amount of work that's been done to the roads, buildings and footpaths in that area in the last few years...the district north of the centre has been undergoing substantial redevelopment including the area in front of the church......

I haven't been there since last summer but I'm surmising this might be the reason for the delay...

I've tried to see it a few times-most recently in January this year-without success. The staff at Tourist information don;t seem to ahve any idea when it'll be ready for the public. Sorry.
