Does anyone have a sense of how long it will take to drive from Rovinj to Plitvice? And how long to drive from Plitvice to Zagreb? I'll be driving a rental car.

I am travelling from Zagreb airport Kranjska Gora on 9/26. Does anyone know if it is more efficient to travel by bus than by train?

I have heard that it is faster by bus and cheaper. Do you know how long it may take? I have checked bus schedules but I seem to get conflicting information online as to what the schedule clearly is and what the connections might be by bus.

On October 15th 2015(at any time), we will be traveling from Piran to Rovinj by Bus.

Is there a bus from :
1. Piran to Rovinj?
2. Piran to Portoroz to Rovinj??
3. Piran to Koper to Rovinj??

I have checked all bus web sites, all buses only run till September 30th.

Is there anyway to go from Piran to Roving by bus on October 15th?

I was recently out photographing and traveling through Croatia. It was incredible! We just went to get lost with no direction or sense of where we were going except north or south. Found so many unexpectedly beautiful place. The only problem is, I don't know where we were either haha.

Hi, we are planning to travel around Croatia end of Sept to Oct. Can anybody give me advise on my planning?
Starting in Slovenia we plan to take a train to Rijeka and start driving from there. We don´t really want to stay in very busy cities nor do we want to change hotels every night. Lonely planet makes almost everything sound interesting so I really don´t know what to do and I can´t do everything :-)

Can anyone confirm if Split railway station is at the main ferry port? Would like to take train from Split to Zagreb, but not immediately obvious if station is next to port for this service, or within Split town

Hello travelers - we have finished our trip through Croatia, and have a 4-man Coleman tent as well as a double (maybe queen?) air mattress. The air mattress has a nice foot pump to go with it. We don't want to see these all go to waste, but we can't take them home on the plane with us.

We are going to be travelling a few days through Croatia, we'd like to go from Dubrovnik to Plitvice National Park (visiting a few places in between) on a rental car and then go back to Dubrovnik from Split by Ferry (visiting a few island).
