Hello

am arriving in pula with my brother in August. Can anyone suggest the best places for snorkeling around the region (have car), though will not want to drive for more than an hour or so. Also, can anyone suggest a place to cliff dive in the region. We are camping in Premantura. Last question is can anyone recommend a place that english untanned brothers in their thirties can have a pint in the evening without looking stupid around Pula.

Cheers

Mike

Hello

My boyfriend and I are going for 1 week to split and we were hoping to go canyoning and kayaking on the river cetina, however all the tour companies seem to go from near omis and we would ideally like one that would take us from split- does anyone know if this is possible or should we just bus it to omis?

Thankyou

Kerry

Hi Everyone,

I really want to find a good value central sociable place to stay in Dubrovnik for 5 nights from 15th August 2007.

Looking for about 20 to 30 Euros a night.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I suppose for this price I wont be able to stay in or near Old town?

Thanks

David

Hi there,

any ideas on a nice place to stay in Split for 2 nights in July. my girlfriend and i arrive quite late on the first day so splashing out for a hotel seems like a bit of a waste.

looking for something near the action and mid-buget.

or maybe the name of a decent (and reliable) tour operator to book through.

thank you one and all

Hello,

I'm travelling from 10th to 19th September with my husband and mother-in-law. We are flying into Split then plan to ferry to Bol or Hvar (undecided on which one yet) then to Korcula then to Dubrovnik and back to Split for our flight out.

I'm finding it really difficult to work out how to get around and which days ferries will travel in September.

Is there a ferry every day from Split to Bol and Hvar?

Is there a ferry from Hvar or Bol to Korcula? And on what days?

How do you then get from…

What amazing places. However both are way WAY to hot for me in July (+40C) & Split didn’t cool down at all even at night, but that could not take away what a fab places they are – just make sure you have air-con in your hotel.

Dubrovnik is noticeable more expensive than Split – it wasn’t that much cheaper than England which surprised me.

Split has so much more to offer than anyone led me to believe. The area around the palace was lovely. We only had 1 day there but I really wish we had time…

Hi,
My partner and I are arriving in Spit early morning at the beginning of September before heading to Trogir.
We would like to spend most of the Day in Split but don’t want to carry our rucksacks around.
Is there anywhere we can leave bags in a safe place such as a left luggage etc?
It would need to be very safe.

Regards,
Alan

We'll be in Croatia in early October with a rental car and we'll be able to drive to the ferry terminals of Drvenik (for Hvar) and Orebic (for Korcula). Is there a daily ferry schedule between these points at that time or would there only be a couple sailings a week?

Thanks,
Gord

Can anyone help me sort out the best way to get from Korcula to Dubrovnik? Four of us will arrive in Split on Saturday, Aug 11 and it looks like the best way to get to Korcula on Monday the 13th is by catamaran. We want to go from Korcula to Dubrovnik on Wednesday, Aug 15 and that's where it gets complicated. It doesn't look like the catamaran does that route on Wednesday, and the one ferry gets into Dubrovnik rather late in the evening. Alternatively, there appears to be one very early morning…

Boat Tours

Hi,

My husband and I will be in Croatia in mid October. We were wondering if they have any day island tour that time of that year and how much does it run? Also, can you take a boat from Dubrovnik to Slipt? And if so, how long does it take and costs?

Thanks in advance for your replies.
