Just returned from Croatia and we spent a lovely week on Brac, where there are reputeldy over 120 species of birds on the island. Brac is the highest of the many islands along the croatian coast and is the greenest. It has many deep harbours and visiting the monastery of Blaca is highly recomended.
The bird watching tours are orginized by the local Sumartin tourist biro and is run solely by volunters and are free. The tourist officers name is Lucia and her number is 021 622 097 zazibooo@hotmai…

Hi folks,
I am in Croatia for business, lucky me :-) as I am working for a private Consulting Company that implements development projects allover the world. They sent me to Zagreb 2 weeks ago to help start a new project....

Would be nice to meet some young people (I am 27) and have a drink in the evening or travel over the weekend. For…
I know there are a couple buses a day from Dubrovnik to Mostar, but I was wondering when the last one leaves? I would like to do a day tour that gets back at 17:30 and then hope to catch the bus.
Hi Everyone,
I have been working on an itinerary for my husband and I for May. We are arriving on the 10 May (via train/bus from Venice) and will be flying out of split on the 25th May. We have decided to hire a car for part of the trip as we want the freedom of movement and would also like to see a mix of coast and inland. Here is our suggested itinerary. Any comments/suggestions would be excellent...i.e. is it too rushed, if so what to dump out of all these amazing places??

hi fellow travelers,
i'm looking for info on good hiking places to check out in May along the Adriatic Coast in Croatia. Are there good day hikes at Mljet NP? Any other good islands for hiking (trails preferable to roads) that folks can recommend?
thanks!
Arriving at Cilipi airport (Dubrovnik) 31 august 08 around 9.00 am. Have to go to Lopud the same day. Are boats (ferries) leaving from Gruz harbour only or also from old town harbour? Is the airport bus going to Gruz harbour or only to Dubrovnik centre? How many ferries per day and what time? This is on sunday.
Thank you!
I might go to Croatia next week(14th~18th of Mar) but weather forecast said it's raining every day.
Is it true? is it bad season to travel DBV?

Also, i didnt know which port was easiest to get to from Naples?; Ancona port or Bari port
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
