Hi,
we're spending a few weeks travelling round Eastern Europe in the summer, finishing in Croatia. The cheapest way to get back to the UK so far looks like a flight from Trieste in Italy, and we've seen that there are buses from Dubrovnik to Trieste. What we can't seem to find though, are prices for this bus. Can anyone help please?
Also, is bus travel expensive within Croatia?
Thanks :)
Hi... I am going to be spending two weeks in Greece, and then my friends are heading to Turkey. I am wanting to head off to Croatia... in late September. Will have just under 2 weeks before meeting my friends again in Athens.... I am struggling to work out the best [and most budget oriented] way to do this... I am a solo woman traveller.
All advice, thoughts and opinions welcome.

Hello, I'm a keen fisherman and climber with flights arriving in craotia on monday 24th march and a car booked for six days. I hoping somebody can tell me what the weather is like this time of year and if the trout season is open for fishing, particularly the Gacka and Kupa Rivers. Can anybody give me some pointers on things to do?

We're travelling by car from Lake Como through Northern Italy, Slovenia & down the Dalmatian coast to Dubrovnik in May. Would appreciate any recommendations for guest houses, pensiones etc. We're not looking for luxury, but need a reasonable degree of comfort eg ensuite. Any suggestions gratefully received.
I am trying to plan a 3 week honeymoon to Croatia and Italy. Some of the places I had in mind for Italy are Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Capri, and maybe Venice if there is time. But none of that is set in stone! I don't know a lot about Croatia but have heard that it is beautiful! Any suggestions on an itinerary that includes some of the must-sees in Croatia and maybe a little beach time!
Does anyone have any suggestions for the best/easiest way of travel from Split, Croatia to Venice, Italy? i was hoping to travel by boat/cruise but it seems international lines are infrequent in late April.
Hi there
I will be in Croatia for a few days in June, going from Split to the Island of Hvar and back. I have been trying to find the ferries timetable between Hvar and Split but the only one I seem to find is the one that leaves Hvar quite early in the morning.
Does anyone know if there are other ferries or catamarans that leave Hvar in the afternoon?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Everyone,
I have previously posted a queston about getting a train/bus from Venice - Trieste - Reijka in May. I got some excellent timetables off sites recommended on this page. However, what I would like to know is - do I need to book in advance or can we just show up on the day? If we do need to book does anybody have suggestions for how we do this? I think I worked out how do book the train from Venice to Trieste, but I couldn't work out the bus.
Any help would be GREAT.
Thanks
