Hi everyone
I am landing in Rijeka airport on 14th July and spending 5 days in Istria based in Rovinj. The plan is to hire a car and drive there and then return it a week later before boarding the overnight ferry from Rijeka to Split.
Can anyone recommend a reliable car hire that's not too expensive that I can pick up at either the airport or in town and perhaps drop off 5 days later at the ferry port or in Rijeka town as i don't really want to go all the way out to the airport and then all the…

How is the state of the road between Makarska and Vrgorac ( 512).I would like to cycle this road in the summer and continue then to Ljubiski ( BIH) and to Medjugorje.
Is it a lot of traffic on that road?
is it really hilly?

Has anyone been able to book tickets online to Venice with this company? I typically never prebook but the weekend I want to be in Venice is going to be very busy and everything I read highly recommends getting accommodations booked so I thought I would try and get my bus ticket booked as well. By the way the weekend I am going is aug 31.

I am planning to be in Korcula on Tuesday, June 25th. The website http://www.korculainfo.com/buses-roads-korcula.htm mentions that there is a bus from Korcula to Mostar at 8:45am. I searched for more information online but had trouble finding any details. Does this bus actually run, and what is the bus company? Is June 25th too early for it to have started? Is there a timetable somewhere?

If Im getting a bus from Zagreb and want to stop over somewhere on the way to split would you recommend stopping in either Plitvice or Zadar to see the kornati islands national park? Which is the preferred option in your opinion.

Im trying to plan my trip. At the moment Im flying into zagreb for a few days and then flying down to Dubrovnik. I cant decide if I should head up north via split all the way to Rijeka and cross into Slovenia (and then Hungary) OR continue down into Montenegro and see the stunning coastline- then cross into Serbia and go to Hungary that way.

What is your opinion? What is the coastline of Croatia like from Split up to Rijeka?
