Last year we travelled in early June flying into Dubrovnik. We got the bus into the bus station and then got a bus to Split and a ferry to Brac. We were blown away by brac and Supetar in particular. I'm going to be in Zadar for the weekend at the end of May, and like the idea of doing a boat trip to either the Kornati islands or Telascica Bay. Is it easy enough to arrange this when I'm there? Can anyone recommend any good tour operators who do this?
My husband and I are in Hvar for 4 days in Aug and want to rent a 5 hp boat for one day to explore the Pakleni Island. Do we need to book the boat in advance? Or can they be hired on that day itself - its peak season and hence the concern.
Also, how much can we expect to pay for the small boat with and without fuel?
We do not have a license and hence, this is the only boat that we can rent.

I will be spending 3 days in Vis in Mid-May and I was wondering if I needed to book my trip to the Blue Cave in advance. Or would it be no problem to show up and book the trip for the day before (possibly want to check out some of the old military bases as well)? Thanks!

We are four mature adults driving to Croatia from Florence, Italy third week in June. We plan to spend a few days exploring inland Istria and then want to go to an island or seashore area for 5-6 days. Myself and two friends will be interrailing in June for 10-12 days. We were wondering if someone could advise us on transport.
We have flights booked to begin in Amsterdam. We are then thinking of going to Berlin, Budapest,Slovenia, and Croatia. We don't know Croatia very well so are just wondering where would be good to visit that would be nearby to culture, beaches and also a convenient airport to fly home from.

We are heading to Croatia for the first time this summer, flying into Dubrovnik and flying back out of Split (flights were cheapest this way).
