Hi,

I have two options I need advice for in terms of travelling from Zadar to Monetegro.

Zadar to Monetenegro by inter-island ferry in around 3 days, and then staying in Montenegro for a further 3 days.

OR

Zadar to Montenegro by train, via Serbia in around 3 days and ending up in Montenegro for a further 3 days.

OR

If the above sounds too boring / ambitious, any other suggestions?

I need advice on which one is the best possible choice to go with, in terms of scenic views and price.

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Even if there were no current floods in Serbia, traveling by train from Zadar to Montenegro would make sense only for train aficionados. On top of it, railroad tracks form Zadar to Knin are currently under reconstruction. So, forget it. Interisland ferry ditto. Non existent. The only way by public transporation is by bus to Dubrovnik, from there on to Montenegro. Of course, there is a plain connection via Zagreb, too.
