Hi there,

I have five days in August to spend traveling down from Split to Athens (in between two tours). I would like to visit a two or more countries in between, not to fussed which ones. Has anyone done this? Could anyone provide suggestions on how to do this or if it is feasible in five days?

Thanks all.

You cannot really stop and enjoy 2 other countries on such a tight schedule. But you will have a few stops along the way.

Basically go through Montenegro- spend 2 nights in Kotor, then in the evening from Podgorica 8.05pm there is an overnight bus to Skopje (everyday except Monday). Skopje you can stay here a night or even make your way to Lake Ohrid in Macedonia- then to Thessaloniki buses daily, this is northern Greece, then get yourself to Athens via bus or train.

It is feasible but you will be traveling most of the time just to get there.
