My wife and I are heading to Croatia in mid September, and hoping to do some sailing around the Dalmatia islands. We had some friends lined up to join us but that fell apart so we're now wondering if we might find 2-6 other folks to join us and make the trip a bit more affordable. We have some flexibility, but will likely be in Croatia (flights not booked yet) around September 19-30. We don't have sailing experience, so are up for either meeting up with others who can skipper the boat, or hiring a skipper and sharing the costs.
Can provide more details if anyone out there expresses serious interest. Briefly, we're mid-30s, I American she British, living in Luxembourg. Professional, but not boring. Long story, but if we meet up, there will be plenty of time to relate the details. Or not.
Come on folks. Someone out there must be excited about the idea of sailing around for a week, visiting the small towns and coves and beaches, eating great seafood, drinking lots of local wine. Couldn't be too bad.
