Just looking for some information as to what weather I can expect in Hvar and Split in late September. Is it warm enough for days on the beach?
Any information would be helpful as there seems to be a dearth at present.

In the second half of September, everything is possible. It is impossible to predidt the weather for this season. The sea water will be warm enough.

Was in Split and Hvar 11 Sept to 22 Sept last year. Brilliant weather, great stuff. Sunburn, the whole lot. Was warm enough to swim and beach on all bar one or two days.I think it rained one day on our last/second last day in Split before flying back to London. This link will give you averages, and as you can see temp falls and precip rises as the month goes on:
