Hi There,

Looking to spend approximately 7-10 days in Croatia, focussing on a romantic, island hopping adventure! We are either flying into Rijeka (Krk) to stay with friends for about 2 days, then continue on. The islands that we were thinking about are: Hvar, Vis, Dubrovnik. We have heard mixed feedback about Korcula and Pag...your thoughts? We would like to see as much as possible, but also don't want to rush around not really enjoying or seeing anything. We would like to go to the "Blue Cave" both assessible from Vis and Hvar. Any idea on the route? Do you think that we should see more? We were thinking of renting scooters on the islands that we feel like exploring more, perhaps a wine tour, secluded beaches, cave diving, etc. Any recommendations? Since it is our anniversary we would like to stay somewhere nice in Hvar, Vis, Dubrovnik - nothing expensive, but with nice views and close to the centre of things!

Any feedback and advice would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

I think you need to make a list, as even with 10 days doing half that will be tough. Think 2-3 days per place. Also, research the transport options to/from Krk--most towns are connected by bus and jadrolinija ferry.
1) arrival, transport to Krk
2) Krk
3) Krk

I hear you! We decided that we can only go for 8 days which makes it tighter. Our plan is to depart Fri June 28 to Rijeka, spend until Sunday then head to Hvar/Vis (is one closer than the other?) - the plan is to meet up with some friends on Krk but if they can't then we will fly in to Zadar whch is closer to the islands that we really want to see. We haven't been to Vis or Hvar... Which one do you think is best? We love the beach so beautiul beaches are a must, good food, beautiul environment, go to the Blue Cave, and some adventure sports maybe? Son't know if we have time o go to Dubrovnik, especially if we do go to Krk but i was just thinking that my boyfriend might really like it. So initially fly into Rijeka fly out Zadar. I haven't had much luck finding a transport from Krk to Hvar/Vis any recommendations as well as hotels or nice B&Bs would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
