Wondering which of teh islands in crotia across from split are the cleanest and nicest to go to? Also if you could tell me how difficult it is to get to the islands from split and how much$$?

It is very easy to go from split. There is one very big ferryline company (dont remember the name).
Last year I went to Korcula, which is slightly less touristy than Hvar (havent been there, but saw the coastline crowded with people). I really enjoyed Korcula (it was clean also, nice environment). The ferry goes to the other side of the island, where a bus is ready. I think, it was about 15 euros in total (ferry + bus), but not completely sure about that.

There are many many islands around Split. If you go there just ask around and you will find some that are nice. I went to Bol beach (on Brac) and it was crowded. Vis is pretty. From Hvar you can take a 10 minute water taxi to several islands that are more remote and have less people. Hvar and the surrounding islands have been the most beautiful in my opinion. I also went to Šolta and at the beach there were 5 other people - you can get there from Split on ferry that takes 45 minutes.
