Sorry to post the question without doing my own research first - but I'm a bit pressed for internet access at the moment.

I'm going to be in Dubrovnik in May, and am thinking of heading to Macedonia to see a friend in Skopje for a couple of days, before heading up to Belgrade - does anyone know what the transport options are for the Dubrovnik-Skopje trip? I'm not expecting to be lucky enough to find a direct bus line, and I'm guessing Kosovo could pose a bit of a problem in the current climate?

I'd be grateful for any info or suggestions.

I hope that you have luck with kosovo on summer...

I tkint that you have buse from Dubrovnik to Niš in serbia then to Skoplje..

There appears to be direct, seasonal bus service between Skopje and Dubrovnik, though I've never heard of anyone with first-hand experience taking this line. I also don't know if it would be running in May -- assuming the line runs only in summer, May is probably right on the cusp of the service beginning for the year.

See this previous thread

If you can't find this direct bus, you could do as #1 says and go through Serbia. Or a potentially more direct route would be to catch a bus from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo, and from Sarajevo catch a connection to Skopje (assuming one exists).
