I am going to Croatia in a week or so (5th of July). I am trying to figure our the best way to get from Dubrovnik to Hvar (and back) by boat. I know there are some ferries (Jadrolina) making the trip, but they don't seem to run very often. I have read somewhere that during July/August more boats (including faster catamarans) do the same trip, but I have not been able to find information about these. Does anyone know where to find info about them?
I am also wondering if it is necessary to pre-book tickets, or if I can buy them when boarding (considering busier schedules during July/August)?
