I'm leaving for Croatia beginning of August, and from a stay at Krk I want to continue to Venice.
I have read all about travelling by bus from Rijeka to Trieste and continue by train, but was wondering about the possibilities to travel by boat to Venice.
The options to take te normal ferry from Istria is no option, because it will be a big hassle to be in Porec early in the morning and I think it will be difficult and expensive to find a room for 1 night there at August 15 or 16.
I have heard that there are excursionboats going for a daytip from Krk to Venice, which take about 2 hrs and 15 minutes, but I can find no schedules or prices on the internet.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to join such a excursion just for a one way ticket?
If so, where can I find information about dates and prices.
I think these boats should leave form Malinska; I am staying in Dobrinj.
