I have seen travel blogs saying that one day tour to Mostar is possible. I am not sure if it is by public tranport/bus. Some says it is not possible. Anyone have tried this or knows the latest situation.

We went on the bus which took around 3 hours and stayed for a few days but a woman who works with my wife did go on a day trip from Dubrovnik so it is doable. Most at is fabulous. One of my favourite places in Europe

The issue with traveling from Dubrovnik to Mostar is that there are limited buses from Mostar back to Dubrovnik so by the time you arrive, you need to turn around and depart again. There are tours which do this as a day trip and last summer there was an extra bus run which made later departure from Mostar possible.
