hi all, if you had a choice to drive or ferry to dbv w/c would you chose to be better and most scenic?
Thanks.

The ferry is by far more relaxing. The ferry route from Split to Dubrovnik, along the islands of Brac, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet is very scenic. Direct ferries from Rijeka and Bari. If you start at Ancona, you have to change at Split or Starigrad (www.jadrolinija.hr, www.blueline-ferries.com).

Sorry, we will be coming from Korcula.

Well if you are coming from Korcula, presumably you will already have had a nice scenic ferry ride from Split or Hvar, correct? In that case, I would take the bus. I find the scenery on the Peljesac peninsula very scenic.

ha ha "scenery is scenic," that sounds dumb.
Especially notable is the area around Ston--where you see the walls.

Agree with #2, the ferry is way more relaxing, but not always the fastest way. The roads are very windy and not recommended if you get car sick easily. Either way the scenery is beautiful.
