In a week I will be traveling from Spain to Croatia on my van and spend there all the month of August.
I am looking for nice, relaxed, chilled and not too crowded beaches and islands along the adriatic coast.
And also beaches where I can park my van.
Would like to know also how easy is it to travel around in a van.
I mean, if it is allowed to park and camp wherever I want or if I need to go to camp sites?

Hi Vassos,
Getting around is not difficult but it's peak season and more difficult to park. Camping 'wild' is not allowed (in low season, after 15/9 or 30/9 htey're not that strict!) There are some places, special for motorhomes/campervans and a bit cheaper than the obvious campsites, being relatively expensive in Croatia.
About beaches, this combination you prefer is pretty rare - as said peak season. Admitting too that I've got little expertise on this.
BTW. Be aware of the necessity of a vignette for the motorways in Slovenia. Fines for neglecting are hefty.

Are they really strict on wild camping? Do they usually fine vans?
And what about those vignettes?!!!

I was checking and it seems easy to buy on petrol stations in Slovenia and neighbouring countries, but not in Italy!!!
Do you know if I am entering in Slovenia from Trieste (Italy) if there is any vignette sales point on the way?!!! Would be great!!!

You need vignette ONLY if traveling on motorways (toll roads) in Slovenia. If you use local roads, you don't need them. Coming from Italy via Trieste look for a local two lane highway to the border crossing at Rupe, direction Rijeka/Croatia (check the road map). From Italy to Croatia, that highway passes thru Slovenia in the length of cca 25km. Watch carefully the speed limit, otherwise you will be charged an arm and leg by zealus slovenian police showing up out of nowhere.
As per wild camping, it is not allowed. Since the croatian police force is stretched to the limit in the peak season and in general lax, you may just get lucky. Usually you can find a spot and try your luck along the coastal highway which often passes by the sea.
