Hi everyone-
I'll be doing a mini road trip in Croatia in mid Nov and just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on anything in the area- This is the Itinerary: (it's really 7 days.... but i don't consider either of the flight days as road trip days)

Mon- Arrive in Split 7pm, rent car, go to guest house in Trogir
Tues- Drive to Sibenik-zadar return to trogir (4 hr drive)(night 2 in trogir)
Weds- Check out Split/ trogir
Thurs- Slow leisure drive to Dubrovnik
Fri- Day in dubrovnik
Sat- More dubrovnik- maybe check out nearby Cavtat or go to Kotor
Sun- Flight out of Dubrovnik

Is there anything specific nearby that I'm missing? Since it's Nov I'll be avoiding all of the islands.. Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Sibnek is stunning, if the weather is good I would highly recommend visiting the Plitvice National Lakes - photos really don't do them justice.

Shame you can't get over to Korcula, was my favourite spot there. Personally found Zadar a little over rated.

Safe travels,
Dan

Don't forget the Krka Falls Park (Sibenik).
There is a car ferry from Split to Vela Luka (Korcula Island).

From what I've read it seems like most things will be closed in November on the islands, and ferry services are greatly reduced. So that being said... was it the sights or the atmosphere that you enjoyed the most? Because I picture it to be pretty sleepy and quiet with only a few cafes/ restaurants open in Nov.

I don't think I could put my finger on what it was, but seen as I was camping the summer certainly helped. I agree, the charm is likely to be missing in November!

Don't guess, have a look at the timetables:
