Hello there this my first post on here and would like some information from you experienced TTers.
My boyfriend and I arrive in Phuket on the 20th of October and are interested in doing the open water Padi course, can someone recommend a good reputable dive company that would be able to start the course on the 21st. We are going to be staying in the Kata beach area.
I'm moving to Australia in November, and will make a stop over in Nadi Fiji.
I'd like to get my PADI Open water while there... does anyone know any dive shops fairly close to Nadi? I can't pay resort-like prices... I'd like a backpacker dive hostel/shop (like in Utila for example) or just a dive shop that allows you to sleep elsewhere (provided their are cheap hostels around). I'm a 23 year old female and will be alone.
Should I book before arriving, or is it better to wait until I get there to…
Hi all, heading to Puerto Rico with work for 2 weeks and would love to get some diving in. I am a rescue diver but have not
dived in a year, would be interested in any ones recommendations and experiences.
Thanks

Has anyone dove the mediterranean sea in winter? If yes, where, any recommendation? How cold does the water get?
Anyone diving in Uruguay?
Is it possible to do the PADI open water course there?
My wife and I will be in Thailand in early January. We are interested in a moderate priced live aboard. We are in our mid 50's and are not interested in a party boat. We'd also like a relatively small boat not one with 20 divers. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi, could somebody give me some info on the subject. What's the weather like around Similans in July? I know it's monsoon season, but there's been several posts saying that diving is okay still. I'm planning a trip next summer and it has to be July. I'd like to go to Khao Lak and maybe get a liveaboard. Other option would be Ko Tao but I'm not too keen on that.
looking for the above.. if they booked everything for me that would be great.(including flights) guided is great...getting too old to do everything myself..like taking a tent and sleeping bag with me and running into the jungle on my own. thank you
Has anyone heard of these people???
http://www.divevip.com/index.html

I'm looking at doing my PADI open water in the Philippines in October and they seem to have a special on for 5 days accom and the Dive course for $330 USD.
It seems pretty cheap and I would like to know if they are reputable.
Thanks
Well, got the flights booked and the g/f and I are off to Thailand on December the 15th. Current plans consist of jumping on an AirAsia flight to Phuket or Krabi for a few days of diving, do Christmas or New Year on a Similian Islands liveaboard (then hightail it up to Cambodia). I've 200+ dives whilst the g/f has around 20.
So, given that we've got quite a few pro's from the area posting here I'm touting for peoples thoughts on where to go for the first few days. Somewhere we can get over the…
