I will be going to Cairns in a few days. I hope to get some diving in. What is the viz like at the moment? How much will i have to pay for a 3 dives on a day trip? What can i expect to see this time of year? Any suggestions for a good dive company?

I'm Italian and I'm planning my trip to Australia.
Diving obviously is not the main reason of this vacation but, aroud to may 20 I will be in Cairns and I planned to dedicate 4/5 days to diving and/or explore some islands.
