I wanna Scubadive on Ko Lipe,but I dont have a Padi.And are there direct boats from Penang,maby I give it a try Ko Tao as wel.But it seems like everyone is going there Bans,Phoenix(but they say its quite nice to dive).Bans is packed right,no try for beginners.

hi, title says it all,
going to sharm in 5 days and was wondering wether i should book my diving (padi open water) ahead from the uk or wait and compare once i get there. i d rather book from here as it will probably avoid most of the hassle.
i d like to know from your peronal experinece what company is good/best to pass my padi.
i ll be staying around old sharm (south) and would probably expect to pay about 300 uk pounds all up (200 euros plus books and stuff).

Never been to Boracay so think I should visit, will soon get bored (after a few weeks) of beach lounging so will probably do some diving. Can anyone recommend a diveshop with good local guides that visit some of the better sites and dont charge over the odds

I am looking to head to Thailand in March next year to complete an instructor 6 month training course, I have no dive qualifications (have been on fun dives) and was going to book with Mermaids Dive Centre in Pattaya, however after some reading I understand that Pattaya is one of the less desirable places to be??
