Anyone dived there? Was thinking of a possible trip there this winter. According to some web sites, the season is limited to March-June. True??? Liveaboards only?

Liveaboards only - yes.

Not sure about the season question but it sounds about right.

the season is march to june, and as dp mentioned, live-aboard only, as it's about 90 sea miles from Puerto Princesa.

I did have a trip booked there in 04 early in the season April - deposit was refunded because they took a scientific charter instead later - not enough bodies to do my trip.

I went for a cheap option

My advice is look to do this trip around May-ish, but book it early & ask what the minimum number is

Asia divers run a liveaboard there & although they were too expensive for me - they did the trip & I didn't

I've been with their land based outfit in Puerta Galera & they are good
