Hello,
I'm coming up to renew my PADI dive master cert. but I don't plan on using it for the next year. If I don't pay the renewal fee on November 11th, can I still renew my DM licence in a year or two? My instructor wasn't sure but thought that there was just an additional fee to reactivate the membership if you let it expire...

Yes you can renew after a period of non renewal, but you might need to complete an online DM update when you next renew. No big deal only takes few hours to complete online.
