| johnvb12:09 UTC03 Sep 2007 | Hey! I am heading to the Ppines in November for just under two weeks, I was wondering if anyone can suggest a great relaxing place to go diving while we are there. We arrive and depart from Manila! We are both relatively new at diving and would love try spend some time relaxing as well.
Cheers John

If you stay in Big Lalaguna beach it is very laid back, check out Campbells resort-beautiful place above a lovely beach, Bob the owner is a great guy! It is two beaches down from Sabang(where the diveshops are) or about a 150p boat ride or 15 minute walk.
The diving in the verde channel is awesome, I counted 60 species in a weeks diving there and it is acknowledged to be the center of the diving universe for diversity of life. Make sure you get to Verde island for dives while your there-its the best of the best!
I use Frontier scuba on Sabang beach-Rick is the English owner, between him and the divemaster they have 20,000 dives. Small groups-6, friendly, accomidating and helpful. Resonable prices. Dives and teachs TEC and recreational. Nice equiptment. If you go tell them Rexman sent you!
There is also waterfalls, caves, quarries, golf course, mountains, native villages nearby.
