Going to Palau, planning to do at least 6 days of diving. I am not very much into caves or wrecks...
What are must-do dive sites apart from Blue Corner and German Channel? How many days of diving/dives would be good to see the best dive sites?
I heard there is a special place for stingrays. Has anyone been there?
Do you miss dive sites by choosing Peleliu as a base?

Regardless of whether you like caves, Blue Holes is worth doing and often it is possible to make it to Blue Corner on the same tank - if the current is right. Youspend about 10 -15 minutes in the cavern and then head out to dive the wall to Blue Corner and watch the grey reef sharks sitting in the current :-)

There is some awesome coral around the area of the cleaning station in German Channel, some of the biggest and pristine I have seen - and it makes a great bail out if the manta's don't turn up.

Jellyfish lake is a snorkel not a dive, but worth doing once for the experience. Not sure you would be able to do it from Peleliu though - it is very much closer to the main part of Koror (15 minute boat journey).

6 days diving is plenty. The only limit in Palau seems to be budget as the diving can be fairly pricey.

Well, you can do jellyfish lake on the way back to Koror.
I think about 6 to 7 days of diving, alternative would be 4 to 5 days, but that seems too little. When diving from Peleliu, I might be able to do 2 dives the day before departure, because the flight leaves around 1:30pm
Could you comment on the dive shops on Peleliu?

I thought the cabbage wall in Ulong Channel was rather brilliant

Ditto Blue Holes dive

& although you don't go for caves, Chandiler cave is I think my top non-wreck dive - you get to do the mandarin fish at the end too ;-)
